The main objectives of the European Federation of Parasitologists are

to promote the exchange of knowledge on parasitic organisms and diseases
to coordinate researches and networks related to parasitic organisms
to support of basic, veterinary & medical Parasitology
to attract young scientists and students to develop researches in Parasitology
to organize a European Multicolloquium of Parasitology (EMOP) every 4 years

EFP Fees 

Each society have to pay a 0.5 € fee for each of its active members per year. The funds should be sent to the Banca Nazionale del Lavoro, Rome, Italy (see details here).

Most of the EFP funds are used to grant students to attend the EMOPs and to award Young Scientists every 4 years (see details).
